Then join the community choir on the steps of the Reformed Church of the Tarrytowns, 42 North Broadway, at 7PM. Facepainting sponsored by Rock Island Sound (Rock Island Sound, 6 Main St. - ask about their free sample lessons) Live Ice-Sculpting on Main St.! November 19 - Harvest, Holidays, & ChiliOn November 19th we will be holding our first (hopefully annual) "Chili Contest" open to all comers with a $100 gift certificate for the winner - sponsored by Tarrytown Patch. Halloween is over for another year, but we encourage you to keep out your cauldron, throw in that extra eye of newt, and brew up your best chili for all to taste at November's Third Friday.
October 15 - Halloween!Halloween holds a special place in our hearts around Sleepy Hollow Country and Tarrytown Third Friday has some fun-frights in store for October 15! We've got pumpkin decorating, kids crafts, facepainting, music, and we're cooking up a chilling surprise with a little bit of a trick and a little bit of a treat! August 20 - Dinner and a Movie!August's Tarrytown Third Friday will feature our first Dinner and a Movie event! A 20' screen (sponsored by Dr. B.J. Mistry, DDS) right on South Washington Street will show a feature film (sponsored by WowGreen) at the break of dusk (around 8:45pm) and an al fresco dining area (sponsored by WowGreen) will be available for BYOPicnic, BYOTakeout, or BYOMeal-from-any-of-our-area's-many-excellent-restaurants! |
